1. By submitting a completed online Application Form (Application), you apply to enrol 
in the course commencing on the date indicated in the Application.

2. You agree that upon being notified of acceptance of the Application by Wedgetail 
Academy Pty Ltd (ACN: 676 521 734) (Wedgetail Academy) your participation in the 
course will be governed by the following terms and conditions (Contract):

3. Prior to the course commencement, you must:
a. satisfy the relevant course prerequisites;
b. provide the details and documentation requested in the Application, including
evidence of satisfaction of any prerequisites required for the course (which will
usually include your individual aviation reference number, and your current 
remote pilot licence, both issued to you by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority 
(CASA)); and
c. pay the applicable fee.

4. If, prior to the course commencement date, you do not satisfy the relevant course 
prerequisites, provide the details and documentation requested in the Application, and 
pay the applicable fee, you may not be permitted to commencethe course at that date. 

5. The applicable fee will be deemed to be paid when the amount of the fee is received 
in Wedgetail Academy’s bank account. Please be aware that this means you may have
to ensure that any bank transfers are made a few days prior to the course
commencement date to ensure the course fees have been received by that date.

6. If, for any reason, your conduct during the course is unacceptable to Wedgetail 
Academy, including any conduct that puts the safety of others at risk or amounts to 
harassment or abuse, your enrolment may be cancelled and YOU will not be entitled to 
any refund of the tuition fees or other charges paid to Wedgetail Academy.

7. All course related material supplied by Wedgetail Academy:
a. is subject to copyright;
b. remains the property of Wedgetail Academy at all times; and 
c. when requested must be returned to Wedgetail Academy on completion of the 
course. 

8. Any unauthorised copying of course related material supplied by Wedgetail Academy 
may constitute a breach of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) (as amended from time to time)
and will entitle Wedgetail Academy to terminate your course immediately with no
refunds given.

9. You agree that your course log-in details (including usernames and passwords)
cannot be shared. If you share these details, Wedgetail Academy may terminate your
course immediately with no refunds given.

10. You will advise Wedgetail Academy of any change to your address and/or contact 
details while you are enrolled in the course.

11. Wedgetail Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses, or part
thereof, because of operational circumstances.

12. If you cannot attend a course you have enrolled in, you may ask Wedgetail Academy 
to agree to:
a. substitute person to attend in your place; 
b. permit you to attend the course at a later date; or
c. permit you to withdraw from the course.

13. Such requests must be made in writing, no later than 5 business days before the
commencement of the course. Wedgetail Academy may, in its absolute discretion, 
grant or refuse any such request. 

14. Despite any other provision of this Contract, course payments are not refundable 
unless:
a. the scheduled course is cancelled by Wedgetail Academy without being
rescheduled in the 12 months following the original course end date; or
b. the scheduled course is cancelled by Wedgetail Academy and rescheduled in the 12 
months following the original course end date but, no later than 10 business days 
after being notified of the rescheduled course, you notify Wedgetail Academy in
writing that you are unable to attend the rescheduled course; or
c. subject to the discretion of Wedgetail Academy with consideration of exceptional 
circumstances.

15. If you do not:
a. satisfy the requirements of the course, as assessed by Wedgetail Academy; or
b. complete the course within the time permitted by Wedgetail Academy, Wedgetail 
Academy may terminate this Contract and will not issue you the CASA license or 
qualification that would otherwise by issued upon successful completion of the 
course.

1. Wedgetail Academy is not responsible for information or the content of documents 
accessible via links on Wedgetail Academy’s website. Such information and documents 
are provided for convenience only and are subject to the restrictions and disclaimers 
contained in the links or the information and documents accessible via those links.

2. Wedgetail Academy is not responsible for any actions, inactions, or omissions taken
as a result of relying on or using the information contained in the documents accessible 
via links on Wedgetail Academy’s website, nor for any damage arising or resulting from 
such actions, inactions, or omissions.

3. Any comments or opinions contained or expressed in documents accessible via links 
on Wedgetail Academy’s website are those of the author(s), unless otherwise stated.
